EVYTRA Strengthens Ties with China at Hidden Champions Forum in Beijing
New Impulses for German-Chinese Business Cooperation and Market Expansion
May 27, 2025 – Last week, EVYTRA CEO Pierre Lohrber attended the prestigious Hidden Champions Forum in Beijing. The event, dedicated to international exchange among leading mid-sized companies, focused on German-Chinese cooperation.
In in-depth discussions with business leaders, policymakers, and experts, one message was clear: both countries stand to benefit significantly from collaboration, especially in the fields of advanced production technologies, innovation, and strategic partnerships.
A key topic of the forum was redefining the role of China – not merely as a manufacturing partner, but as a high-potential customer market. German-made products continue to enjoy a strong reputation in China, opening valuable opportunities for export-oriented companies like EVYTRA.
Pierre Lohrber took the opportunity to establish strategic connections during the forum. Just a few days later, a follow-up meeting with Chinese decision-makers took place in Germany, where concrete cooperation opportunities with high-value Chinese partners were explored. The aim: to strengthen long-term business relations and gain access to one of the world's most dynamic growth markets.
“The Hidden Champions Forum was a key source of inspiration for us,” said Pierre Lohrber.
“We used the platform to showcase our technological leadership in premium glass-based HMIs – and to initiate new partnerships based on mutual respect and shared goals.”
About the Hidden Champions Forum
The Hidden Champions Forum in China brings together selected mid-sized companies that are global leaders in their niche markets. The concept of “Hidden Champions,” coined by German business expert Hermann Simon, highlights companies that may not be well-known to the public but are technologically advanced and economically influential. The initiative aims to foster cross-border networking, support knowledge exchange, and facilitate access to international markets.
