From the Vibrant City of Berlin to the Tranquil Mountains of the Black Forest – Pierre Lohrber's Bold Move to Transform EVYTRA
Pierre Lohrber has made a courageous decision to purchase the traditional company EVYTRA and lead it into a new era. With over 30 years of international experience in Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, Lohrber brings not only extensive expertise but also a clear vision: "An economy that creates the framework for true sustainability through bold innovation is the key to a viable future. Only through progressive thinking and action can we achieve responsible business practices – honest, sustainable, and with foresight for future generations."
Lohrber's career is impressive. At the Würth Group, he established an Innovation Lab that advanced the use of additive manufacturing technologies, and at OTIS, he led global procurement and production projects. His motto, "Be brave, even in challenging times!" is not just a message but also a lived practice. With an international network and unwavering optimism, Lohrber faces the challenges of the modern economy while simultaneously setting bold impulses for the future.
Since joining EVYTRA, Lohrber has fundamentally modernized the company and given it a clear direction. In 2022, he initiated the renaming of FELA to EVYTRA – a milestone crowned with a major appearance at the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas, one of the world's leading technology fairs. This step not only brought international attention to the company but also underscored its claim to be an innovative pioneer in the field of Human-Machine Interaction (HMI).
With a startup mindset and a focus on digitalization, Lohrber has oriented EVYTRA towards the future. He demands courage, agility, and the willingness to constantly reinvent from his team. His pragmatic approach is also evident in small but effective measures: Recently, he had a drone fly through the narrow production areas to gain new perspectives, alongside capturing brilliant footage.
A particular focus of Lohrber's work is on sustainability, which he considers an integral part of the company's strategy. Glass plays a central role as a sustainable and versatile material. EVYTRA develops HMI solutions that are not only technologically leading but also ecologically responsible. "Glass is the key to the next generation of HMI solutions," explains Lohrber. It is durable, recyclable, and an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic. EVYTRA's products combine functionality with aesthetics, making them ideal for demanding applications in medical or industrial technology.
Additionally, the company relies on innovative technologies such as energy-efficient copper-on-glass systems that can replace conventional circuit boards. By using 40 percent recycled glass and environmentally friendly production methods, EVYTRA actively contributes to the sustainable development of any products requiring an interface.
